Brisbane Series Meet #7 is proudly hosted by Darling Downs Athletics Club.

Point Score Competition details (only club members are eligible)

  • You must be a financial member of Qld Athletics, Qrun or ANQ to enter - if you are not a member go to the Join page and join via a club. For casual membership direct QA membership can be found in the Membership Toolbox.
  • Entry is $12 per person - everybody pays as the Brisbane Series are club-run events and most of these funds go towards the clubs that do a fine job of running these (championships still offer reduced and free entry for Gold/Platinum members).
  • Family Discount - $36 for a family of 3 or more - if you have a family of more than 3 wishing to enter this event please DO NOT REGISTER HERE - send the names of the (registered) family members you wish to enter into this event to dave.brown@qldathletics.org.au BEFORE the close of registration (payment for discounted entry will be received separately).
  • There is no check in, just ensure you arrive with sufficient time to walk the course (before competition begins), collect your bib (look for the yellow "Info" flag) and be at the start area 10 minutes before your race start time.
  • Photos may be taken across the series. If you do not wish to be included then at the start line form a X with your arms so the photographer (who will be wearing a hi-vis vest) can note this.

As the Brisbane Series events are club-run events we appreciate and rely on the valuable input of each club and their volunteers. Please show your gratitude and support at each of these events.

All athletes are invited to participate in the Queensland Athletics Cross Country Championships at Victoria Park.

There are no qualifying standards – everyone is welcome. Our aim is to provide a safe and enjoyable, yet challenging, cross country experience for all athletes while also providing a pathway for athletes to progress within the sport.

The championships also act as a selection trial for the Queensland Athletics Team which will compete at the 2024 Australian Cross Country Championships.

The Selection Criteria and Selection Policy can be found on the Athlete's page of the Qld Athletics website.

Queensland Championship medals are awarded to individuals and teams in each age group.
